As if she is still at work. Kids playing on the kitchen floor. A business woman talking on the phone with her kids and maid. A man coming from the airport and getting a limo driver etc.
- These images carry connotations such as traveling to family to celebrate the holidays. From New York to California to celebrate as a family.
- In opening sequence doesn't show much of action or mystery or thrill. It shows family and a sense of drama coming. The poster of the movie shows more action and thrill than the actual opening scene.
- The poster shows more action than the film. So, it will attract its audience with the building being blown up. With the main character's face being in shook. The opening sequence showed a sense of discontinue between a wife and husband.
- Technology has helped with this opening sequence by keeping the camera still. By giving a few pan movements. Adding in wide shots etc.
