 I n this blog I posted my fully finished music video. This was a major project to work on looking back and rewatching, I believe I did my best on this video. It was very entertaining to film and direct.   In this activity I learned how to edit and what comes with filming and editing.  I learned how to make and use titles to the best of my abilities. I want this beginning of this film to be flash-forward and I believe I did just that. Yes, I had to cut some acts out but I am really proud of my film called Now or Never.

  This project overall was fun, new, and stressful. The filming and the looking for the jersey's were fun. I got to discover new things that I didn't know about basketball. I got to learn the strengths and weaknesses of my actors. Or better known my siblings. As for instance, my sister can't really ball basketball but she tries and that my brother is dangerously competitive. I learned that jersey's are not cheap. So instead of buying the jersey's in store. I bought them on Amazon for half of the price of one jersey. But it was stressful because of how much editing this film required. It was also stressful with going from shop to shop to find a prop. I am very proud of this film. It may not be comparable to a marvel movie. But it is something. The adding in the commentators wasn't a problem. I sectioned everything as in the storyboard. I did make a few changes here and there; with some cuts of scenes. Before this class I knew nothing of the order of titles in a film. But my teachers provided the order in which titles go first. I knew that there were certain things that came with the titles. Such as the actors being presented.  Editing this film has been well. The edits that I am doing are making the video go smoothly. I still have a little bit of editing to do but its not much. Everything is in their place. And the timing of each scene and act are perfect. I may have just missed an important scene in my film. The scene is of the two commentators going back and forth. With that being said, I also have to add in the audio for the commentators. I believe the commentators will give the film more meaning. Without them it will make the film seem confusing. However, with them it helps to understand the film more. To hear them I have to turn the background music a little low. I will write it down so I don't forget.  But overall editing this week was a breeze I believe. I choose to let the music play in the background.  In this blog I will be discussing why I think editing is so very important. I believe it is important because it can make or break any film or picture. Editing is to prepare for publication by correcting, condensing, or otherwise modifying it. Editing at its finest can be extraordinary. But little to no editing can question the vision of the director. Just like everything in life,   editing takes practice. For instance, before I took this class I knew nothing about making a film. I knew nothing about editing a film. However, throughout my films I learned how to add in   low angles, high angles, wide shots etc. I learned how to make a certain piece of the film have emphasis. Which means to pop, stand out. With adding these different kind of shots and angles, it brought more looks to the film. I've also learned that editing takes time and detail. For instance, with this film I am editing now, it is taking time to edit in captions. And have everything in the right order. I give props

  Editing is taking longer than I thought it would be. I am not great at it. But I believe that I can be called decent. Well I was proven wrong through the course of editing. The fonts that I choose was "Agency FB" and with my editing app it wasn't available. Yet with this bump in the road. I worked around it and used the fonts provided in the editing app. I loved the way the fonts rolled on the screen. Just as I wanted. It will be a long process with adding fonts/text in the provided scenes. The editing app also provides background for the text.  The music being added in wasn't hard at all. I had to download the music first before I added it in. With the reason of adding in music/recordings into my other films. I have a feeling that breaking up the music won't be easy. I may just mute the music instead of breaking it up. So, it can't be heard as much in other scenes as needed.  The way the scenes are seen right now doesn't look good. The scenes are out of
