The day that I had planned to start filming was November 25, 2020 but in reality I began to start filming on November 30, 2020. That same day I was able to start and finish filming. This music video was a lot tougher than the commercial. Especially with a cranky one year old. Before, during and towards the end of filming, it was difficult and problems kept arising. Before filming I had to get consent from the first individual's mother, my aunt. She felt the need to do research about Cambridge before allowing me to use her daughter to be in my film. While I was waiting for an answer days past and I soon realized that I wasn't going to get an answer. So I had to compromise. My little sister replaced my baby cousin as the first individual. This transition was handled and was fine. But it wasn't until I began filming with my actors and camera man in the scenes that were suppose to be taken outside. When it started to rain. This was frustrating but because I had a back up plan in my planning. I attempted to moved each scene inside the house. When preparing filming, it was a process. But as the director I set the scenes and directed the actors and camera man the way I felt was right. I provided the camera man angles, shots, and movements that I wanted the viewers to see. Towards the end we had a 20 minute break and my baby brother was fed. So, now he cooperated better and there was less stress. I believe with all the transformations that took place, my idea for my music video shifted a bit but overall it still feels great.
