Storyboard for my Aveeno Baby Lotion Commercial

 First scene:

During this scene there will only be my baby brother's crib with its attached diaper table. On the diaper table there would be the Aveeno baby lotion prompted up. This will be a slow scene showcasing the whole crib with an up close of the lotion.

Second scene:

In this scene the lotion will now be set on the floor on top of a baby blanket. The blanket and lotion will seem far and small compared to the crib that will be in the background. This scene will be seen as an wide shot of lotion and the crib in the background.

Third scene:

This scene will take place with the individual, my baby brother siting on a blanket on the ground. He will be dressed only in his diapers playing with the bottle of lotion. This will provide the prospective of a one year old playing with what is in sight, such as the lotion.

Fourth scene:

The scene will then move from the floor to the changing table. This is where the second individual, my mother enters the commercial. She will be drying him off as if he just came from a bath. They will be cheerful and happy. This will be the scene where the cuteness of a baby will overwhelm an audience.

Fifth scene:

After the joyous scene they will still be near the changing table. My mother will then start to lather my baby brother in the Aveeno baby lotion. The camera person will then start to track movement of my mother's hand.

Sixth scene:

This final scene will have both individuals outdoors playing basketball. They will be happy that they made a score and while they are celebrating the score. The camera man will pan move the camera towards the Aveeno baby lotion that will be on the ground. And once towards it the camera/movement will come to a stop.

*Each scene will be 0:05 seconds long.

Research blog: Music Video Conventions

I am doing a one minute music video to the song You've got a friend in me by Randy Newman. As stated in my introduction this is the theme song to the movie Toy Story. The audience that would be most interested in this commercial are people that enjoy Disney movies. Such as family friendly people, children, young adults, adults, the elderly and everyone in between. When I first watched Toy story, I believe it was in the cafeteria of my elementary school and I loved it. There are many productions for instance Toy Story 1, 2, 3, and 4. And in each production the song You've got a friend in me is played as a ritual. When people automatically hear this song they usually assume on the spot Toy Story. This is a friendly and comforting number because this song is interpreting that having a friend that is there for you is superior. In the words of Jim's Poetry, "Your friend will help you and guide you through life when there are tough times. That you will be friends no matter w...

Genre Research: Drama

In this PowerPoint, I described the genre drama. I provided everything common about drama in this PowerPoint. Such as lighting, angles, movement, mis-en-scene and sound. Mis-en-scene means placing on stage in French. Which provides costumes, lighting, acting, makeup, props, and setting. In this PowerPoint I did not work alone. I had a partner and we did amazing with this assignment. We also added in our favorite elements of drama and our least favorite. There are examples of some good drama films included. The elements of drama are the plot, theme, characters etc. These make a drama film good. If one of these elements are missing, it could ruin the film of being a drama film. Drama is a complex genre and is my favorite. It can contain comedy, horror, thrill, action etc. I believe it will forever be great. I think it is possible to prove that there is some type of drama in every film. It can be as little as a penny to as big as the statue of liberty. Drama is a dynamic that cannot...
